Forces War Records Voucher Codes & Verified Deals – October 2026

Good deal on membership

I was looking to find some info on my great-uncle's WW1 service and saw a discount for the Annual Subscription. It made the price much more manageable for a first-time user. Felt like a good value for the access I got to the records.

Always reliable for military records

I've used Forces War Records a few times now, mainly for WW2 Service Records. This last time was just as smooth as the others. The search functions are consistent, and I always find what I'm looking for, or at least get close. That reliability is why I keep coming back over other sites.

Decent resource, some minor issues

I signed up for the Full Membership to research my grandfather's time in the Navy. The ordering process was straightforward enough, and I got access right away. I found some useful information in the Medal Rolls and Navy Lists. Delivery isn't really a thing since it's all online, but the records loaded quickly. I did have a question about interpreting one of the Unit Histories, and the Expert Research Support was helpful, though it took about 24 hours to get a response back. Overall, the quality of the records seems good, and the search tools are pretty powerful once you get the hang of them.

Helpful for ancestry research

I purchased a Monthly Subscription to look into some Boer War Records for a family project. The site is pretty easy to navigate, and I found a few key documents that were very helpful. It took about 5 days to reach Denver after I had signed up, but that was just processing the initial account creation, not really delivery. My only minor gripe is that some of the scans weren't perfectly clear, which made transcribing a bit tricky. Still, the overall experience was positive, and it was worth the money for what I found.
